An animation of the Acer Concordiae series

Watch the progression of the artwork from our August-September cover, as displayed in a tunnel under Concordia University.

BY JESSE SENKO | AUG 17 2011

Photographer Jesse Senko shot each of the 52 laser-engraved stainless steel plaques (drawn by artist Kamila Wozniakowska), which depict a fictional narrative of Concordia’s history and its place in Montreal. The development is symbolized by the growth of an imaginary tree, the Acer Concordiae.

He then animated the series of photos to show the progression of the plaques.
