A conversation with Laurent Lewis, president of the organizing committee for the 78th annual Acfas congress (French)

The annual congress of the Association francophone pour le savoir (Acfas) brings together francophone academics to discuss research topics in all major fields of science and social science.

This is the 78th year for the congress, taking place on the campuses of Université de Montréal from May 10-14. This year’s theme is Discover today what will be tomorrow.

Reporter Christine Loiseau sat down Laurent Lewis, president of the Acfas congress organizing committee for 2010. They discuss why it is important to have a science conference for francophones, the value of research in today’s society, as well as the importance of scientific research, among other topics.
