Peggy Shannon NSCAD University

NSCAD University has announced that Peggy Shannon will be its new president. Her five-year appointment will begin July 1, 2022. Dr. Shannon has served as a professor and administrator at several universities in Canada and the United States for more than 20 years. Most recently, she held the role of dean of the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts at San Diego State University. Dr. Shannon will succeed Sarah McKinnon, who has served as the interim president since July 2020.
