King’s College, an affiliate of Western University, has welcomed Jennifer Slay as its director of equity, diversity, inclusion and decolonization (EDID). Ms. Slay is a professor of social work at Fanshawe College and has run her own counseling and coaching business since 2015. She has previously worked for the Ministry of Child and Youth Services and has held various roles at the Children’s Aid Society of London and Middlesex from 1999 to 2018. Ms. Slay has a bachelor of social work from King’s, an honours bachelor of arts from Western University and a master’s of social work from McMaster University.
