The Department of Psychology at the University of Manitoba invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the area of Applied Behaviour Analysis. Review of applications will begin on December 1, 2019 and the appointment has an anticipated start date of July 1, 2020, or soon after. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job description: We seek a colleague with an active and promising program of research in any area of Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to develop an internationally competitive research program, attract external funding, teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in both in-class and online formats within the Department with the expectation to teach in the areas of Sport Psychology and Behaviour Modification, supervise graduate and undergraduate research, and contribute to departmental service. 

Qualifications: Candidates must have a PhD completed at the start date of the appointment and either be (or be eligible to become) a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated evidence of successful in-class and online teaching experience, and demonstrated evidence of research excellence that includes a track record of peer-reviewed publication, presentations at national and international conferences, and potential to attract external grant funding.
